Thai. Thai.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update. Loving it here in Thailand. We have finally begun our work!(: it’s been great. Tomorrow we are actually doing an outreach program at a Buddhist school, sharing the gospel through a special program we have prepared. We would love your prayers that the Lord would be working through it all and that He is the one who is glorified through it all.
Also, pray that the Lord continually is the ONE that we all rely on, for everything we need. Pray that we continue to be unified and work well together.

Miss you all a ton. Wish I could write more! We only get an hour of Internet time a week though…ha!

Sawatdi Kah

Hi everyone! We have officially made it to Chiangmai, Thailand. It took about 36 hours or so, with lay overs and everything–but we are here!(:
It has been such a blessing so far, I can’t even begin to tell you. Even on the plane ride(s) over.
We ran into a team on their way over to India from APU. It was so amazing to see how the Lord was working in them and being able to pray with them for both of our trips. It was such a reminder of the unity that we have in Christ!
But being at the orphanage has been incredible as well. I wish I could say more! I will soon though.
Thank you for your prayers! We need them everyday! Love you and miss you!

t-1 day.

this is my last day in the states for the next month and a half. its really not that long of a period of time, if you really think about it.

6 weeks.
“YOU CAN DO ANYTHING FOR SIX WEEKS” {words of our missions director.}

and it is true. by the power, g r a c e, and strength of God we can do absolutely anything.

 now a 20 hour flight…that is a whole other story! ha(:

just 2.5 more weeks.

it blows my mind that in just two and a half weeks i will be boarding an airplane headed for Chang Mai, Thailand.

the excitement has finally set in.

just a few more papers to turn in. a couple tests to take. and some MAJOR packing to do.

honestly, i am absolutely [terrified].

…and yet completely filled with JOY at the same time.

let me explain.

first :: meet team THAILAND

these are the [amazing] people that the Lord has sovereignly chosen for me to be able to go to Thailand with this summer. are they not the most wonderful group of people you have ever seen?!

and now let me tell you a little bit about the trip.

for many of you, i sent out a prayer letter that some what explained what we will be doing over there — though many of the actual details are unknown to us! we will be basically interning with ZOE International and working in the children’s home that they have over in Thailand. only the Lord knows what things we will be doing while we are there — so we are just prayerfully trusting in Him.

i am so excited for this trip…SERIOUSLY. but at the same time i am totally scared.

i have realized that this is something that i have to daily be surrendering to the Lord. lately there have been days when i doubt, but can i just tell you :: OUR GOD IS SO GOOD. He keeps giving me confirmation after confirmation that this is His will and that i need to just follow Him and TRUST Him above all other things.

God is so faithful, even though i am not.
He is good, i am not.
His power is perfected in weakness — therefore let me rejoice in weakness, that His power may abound.
when i am weak, then i am strong.

i will continue to keep you updated as things come up here and there.

so i have not formally announced this, so here is goes…

i have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Thailand this summer on a 6 week missions trip!

and i am so incredibly excited.

the Lord is so good.

i can hardly wait to tell you all about it! He is going to do great things!
