a few weeks ago our school threw a little party at Loft7 in LA. it was pretty great!

it all started with accidentally sleeping in until 11 o’clock. we didn’t mean to. but we couldn’t help it. normally the day would have been most unproductive, but we decided not to let that happen. here is what went down…
1. we walked to egg plantation and enjoyed a rather delightful brunch.
2. when we returned it was time for our wing event — a day at the americana with girls of the upper east side.
3. then my parents decided to come up for a quick visit–therefore it was STONEFIRE for dinner!
4. after that, we decided to just live it up and make our way over to pasadena–brooke got a pair of sunglasses (finally!) and we enjoyed her first taste of intelligentsia coffee.
what a day. we forgot that we were in college for a brief 24 hours.
definitely could get used to this…

so dad FINALLY caved — & our family is now much SMARTER.
let me fill you in on all the happenings around here(:
1. had a great b-day celebration with my family at the Americana.
2. my new favorite day of the week = monday.
why? because laura and i sneak off campus to our “secret” spot to study.
3. my best friend asked me to be her M.O.H. — what a sweet surprise?!
of course i gladly accepted.
4. made a new friend(: she is a dear sweet one.
we like to do crazy things together.
5. been spending lots of quality time with my “sister”
6. celebrated laura’s 21st!!
7. finished my senior seminar!
& then went out to celebrate with L.D.
8.DISNEY DAY! which was so much fun.
9. fell in love with Thai tea.
10. && making many great memories with the ROOMZ.

i couldn’t help but put that as the title for this post, only because every time i get the “GUESS WHAT?! WE’RE ENGAGED!!!!!” phone call that is what instantly goes through my mind. hahaha
…but the truth is: i am so excited for my sweet nadia nicole {soon-to-be} POLSTON & Kyle.
it has been so fun to be able to watch the two of them grow together and fall in love.
i still remember when nadia first called me and told me about “this amazing guy” she had just met!!! and now look where we are…precious.
